NJ schools required to teach responsible social media behavior

Recently, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey signed a bill that requires middle schools to teach students how to use social media responsibly.  Educating students about digital citizenship has been a large part of our mission for years.  I believe it is important for students to learn responsible digital behavior at school and at home, in safe environments.  It is also necessary for students to understand the consequences of irresponsible digital behavior.  I think it is great that New Jersey is requiring this in schools!

More kudos to the state of New Jersey for requiring screening for students with potential reading disabilities by the end of second grade!
