Social Studies Textbook Adoption
December 7th, 2009As required by policy, Goochland County Public Schools will have textbooks being considered for adoption on display for public viewing from Tuesday, Dec. 8 until Friday, December 11. The textbooks will be in the conference room on the second floor of the School Administration Building (2938-I River Road West) between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on those dates.

September 16th, 2009Computer Lab Open for Students and Parents
The computer lab at Goochland Middle School will be open EVERY Tuesday and Thursday this school year for remediation and enrichment in core academic areas. A teacher will be on site for supervision and direction. However, parental involvement is strongly recommended. Transportation will be provided for Title I parents upon request. Please contact Mrs. Wilmink if transportation is needed.

Title I Annual Meeting
August 31st, 2009All parents who have children participating in the Title I program are invited to attend our annual parent meeting. For your convenience, we will offer four meetings at different times and locations (please see the schedule below). Several items will be discussed at the annual meeting including the goals and progress of the Title I program, results from the 2008-09 survey, Title I curriculum, the Title I Handbook, and parent involvement opportunities. It is important for all parents of Title I students to attend this meeting if possible. Food and beverages will be provided at all meetings. Child care will be provided.
