All classes will take the Great Depression Test the first day we return to school from our snow break!
Since we have been out so long, here are some things you can do to review for our test:
1. Look over your Great Depression Quick Notes, Vocabulary, and Quiz.
2. Have someone quiz you on the information you’ve studied.
3. Make flashcards with the important people, events, organizations (New Deal Programs), and vocabulary terms.
4. Play SOLPass games at www.solpass.org
-Click on Middle School
-Play the US History 1877 to the Present (picture of the car)
-E-mail me for the password if you don’t remember it from class. I’m not allowed to post it on my blog.
5. Watch BrainPop videos at http://www.brainpop.com/socialstudies/ushistory/
-You can watch these videos to review for the test: Franklin D. Roosevelt, Great Depression, Great Depression Causes, New Deal
-E-mail me for the username and password.
6. Remember to look over your old study guides, tests, and quizzes to help you prepare for the past practice questions.
If you’re still bored, you can also:
1. Play The Lemonade Stand Game for some economics practice.
2. Watch more BrainPop movies for all subjects.
3. Watch CNN Student News…you know you miss Carl Azuz!
4. Watch historical films at this site: http://www.glencoe.com/sites/ss_modules/videos/tajmt_09/TAJMT_09.html
5. Play with Wordle. Copy and paste poems, papers, etc. to create your own word cloud.
