The students in Mrs. Dinger and Mrs. K. Wilson’s 2nd grade classes reviewed Halloween books for the month of October. Be sure to check them out on the Language Arts Committee’s October bulletin board, located near the stage door in the 1st grade hallway.
Classroom teachers have been given packets so that their students can participate in the 2013-14 Pizza Hut BOOK IT! program.
What is BOOK IT?
This free program began in 1985 when the company’s president had a son who was struggling with reading. His son was rewarded with a pizza celebration for his efforts to work hard to improve his reading.
Who can participate?
ALL students at RES may participate in BOOK IT!
What is National BOOK IT! Day?
National BOOK IT! Day is the first day that students may begin participating in the BOOK IT! program. To kick off the event, be sure to visit the BOOK IT! website.
