Friday, March 1st marks the beginning of Dr. Seuss Month with NEA’s Read Across America Day at RES.
An information flyer similar to the one listed below will be sent home with students on March 1st. Be sure to mark your calendars for some exciting events happening throughout the entire month!

February is Black History Month!
Did you know that the American Library Association has a special award given ”to outstanding African American authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults that demonstrate an appreciation of African American culture and universal human values”? It’s called the Coretta Scott King Award – and we have many of these titles available to borrow from our library-media center!
