GHS Student-Leaders Participate in Diversity Dialogue at U of R

Recently, several Goochland High School student-leaders participated in an important regional event at the University of Richmond: Diversity Dialogue Day. Ms. Jessica Hawthorne, Youth Program Coordinator of the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, described the day’s events as, “an opportunity for the future leaders of our state and nation to come together to explore the topics of diversity, teamwork, and cooperation.”

GHS was among more than twenty area high schools to participate and was represented by the following student-leaders: Eva Hansen, Regina Hope, Tucker Humman, Kaytlyn Jones, Hannah Lumpkins, James Melton, Jake Payne, and Julia Trongone.

We are proud of our students for their leadership and thoughtful contributions throughout the day.
