Updated Rehearsal Schedule

Cast and Crew,

As you know, the significant amount of snow days has dramatically impacted our rehearsal schedule. There is no way around not adding additional rehearsals. We have missed too many rehearsals that we have to make up.  As I told some of you at Wednesday’s rehearsal, I elected to have 3 rehearsals on the weekends:

Sunday, March 8th from 2 to 6 PM (Called: Selected Cast Members)

Sunday, March 14th from 2 to 6 PM (Called: Full Cast and Crew)

Saturday, March 21st 2 to 5 PM (Called: Full Cast and Crew)

Whenever I add weekend rehearsals or extend rehearsal hours, I always consider your academic schedule. Grades are very important, and it is vital that you stay on top of your studies. I encourage you to do your homework during downtime at rehearsal.

Lastly, March is going to be a busy month. I am very grateful to be working with such talented students, and your well-being is my first priority. Thus, if you need any time to meet with a teacher or other engagements, please let me know in advance.

Again, I thank you for your time. Attached to this email is an updated schedule.

Snow Day = Rehearse From Home

Members of the Cast and Crew,

I hope you all are enjoying your snow day. At the current moment I am not adding any extra rehearsals to the schedule. However, we should do our best to not get behind schedule. On your day off, please practice the following:

  • Go Over Dialogue (We will be off-book when we return to school)

  • Practice, Practice, Practice your music! The best way to do this is sing with the cast recordings. This can be found on Youtube, Spotify, and iTunes.

  • Practice choreography in your living room. Show your family how to bust a move!

  • Start promoting our show on social media! Our goal is to have all three performances packed!

Again, WE DO NOT WANT TO GET BEHIND SCHEDULE. The more prepared you are now, the less rehearsal time we will have at school.

I am so proud of all of you, and I know this is going to be a spectacular production! Keep up the good work!
