GHS art classes worked collaboratively to create this gigantic tea cup for the drama department’s production of “Alice in Wonderland”.  Hope to see you this weekend at one of the shows!

Using mixed media, the Art 3/4 Honors class explored self portraiture in a variety of ways.  As you can see, each finished piece of art is individual and expressive of the student’s point of view.

GHS ART 3/4 Field Trip

GHS ART 3/4 Field Trip

The Art 3/4 class will be going on a field trip to the Visual Arts Center of Richmond and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  At VisArts, we will participate in a 2 hour, hands on, screen printing workshop.  Then we will travel to VMFA to view a screen printing exhibit by artist Ryan McGinness.

Field trip forms and payment are due Tuesday, October 7th.
