GHS Art III Digital Photography

GHS Art III Digital Photography

As a part of the Art 3 digital photography unit, we have been exploring the creation of digital image transfers.  Students started with original photographs that were digitally altered, then printed onto transfer paper, and finally transferred on to heavy weight art paper.  Here are some of the stunning results!

GHS Students Participate in Congressional Art Competition!

Eight of Mrs. Johnson’s art students are competing in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition!  The work was delivered to Eric Cantor’s office last week.  All entries will be displayed in the Richmond area and one first place entry from the region will be on display for one year in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.!  Congratulations to the students from Goochland High School who had work submitted.
