Fans of Lois Lowry and her Giver trilogy (The Giver, Gathering Blue, and The Messenger) will be plum giddy when they hear that she is turning her trilogy into a quartet. In October 2012 she is releasing the 4th book in the series, and it is entitled Son.
I am a huge fan of the series, and I can assure you I will be there to snag a copy the day it comes out.
