Independent Reading Unit

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more Don’t forget that you have an independent reading assignment to be working on each week as your homework during the research unit.  You only have 3 weeks left!!  That’s right…only 3 WEEKS LEFT!

English 9:  You should be reading Gathering Blue.  If you fill out the worksheets I gave you, you can use them on the test.  They are not required.  If you lost your copy, you can download another one on my website HERE.

English 9 Honors:  You should be reading the thematic novel of your choice.  I assigned the theme, you picked the book.  Make sure you are taking notes as you read. Your notes should point out where and when you see your theme played out in your book.  Your notes don’t have to be in a certain format.  I won’t see them; they are only for your benefit when we begin out project.

ALL classes must finish the independent unit by the following days:

Day 1: February 12th

Day 2: February 13th
