1.  The quarter final games of the Quad Rivers Conference 34 Volleyball Tournament will be played at #4 Nottoway, #3 Bluestone & #2 Prince Edward.  Goochland is the #1 seed and has a bye.

Wednesday, November 6:

1.  The girls and boys cross country teams travel to Panorama Farms in Charlottesville for the 2 A East Cross Country Meet.  The boys race starts at 3:00 with the girls race starting at 4:00.  There is a $5.00 parking fee to entry the meet.

2. The scholastic bowl team travels to Buckingham for their meet starting at 5:30.

Thursday, November 7:

1.  The varsity volleyball team will host on either Brunswick or Nottoway at 6:00 in the semi-finals of the Quad Rivers Conference 34 Volleyball Tournament.  Cost for the game is $5.00.  The GHS family, individual & senior citizen passes do not work for tournament games.

        Directions to Collegiate’s cross country course on the Robins Campus in Goochland County:  
·      From Collegiate’s main campus located at the intersection of North Mooreland and River Roads, follow River Road west for 3.4 miles to Blair Road (Rt. 649).  Turn right on Blair Road and head north for a half mile.   The Robins Campus is on the left.
·      Blair Road meets Patterson Avenue 5.2 miles west of Parham Road and 2.5 miles west of Gaskins Road.  Turn left on Blair Road and head south for a half mile. The site is on the right.
 
·      From the west on 1-64, get off on Rt. 288 south and follow it 5.5 miles to the Patterson Avenue (Rt. 6) east exit.  The intersection of Patterson Avenue and Blair Road is a half mile east.  Turn right on Blair Road and go another half mile.  The Robins Campus is on the right.

Turn right onto Route 60
Go through Cumberland Court House,

Go straight thought Farmville, it turns into Route 15
After you go by Longwood University and then cross over Route 460 By Pass, turn left at the stop light
School will be on your left.  I think they run over behind the vocation center which is on your right across the street from the high school.

Athletic events for the week, September 9, 2013

Monday, September 9:

1.  Lifetouch will be here for individual and team pictures for the volleyball and golf at 3:30.  The students should have their brochure filled out and their money for the pictures.

Tuesday, September 10:

1.  Lifetouch will be taking individual & team pictures for the football, cross country & cheerleaders starting at 3:30.  The students should have their brochure filled out and their money for the pictures.

2.  The golf team travels to Central for their matches with Central & Prince Edward at 3:30.

3.  The middle school volleyball team travels to William Monroe for their game at 5:00.

4.  The cross country teams travel to Collegiate Sports Complex off of Blair Road for their meet.  The girls run at 5:15 and the boys at 5:45.  Teams in the meet are:  JR Tucker, Henrico, Clover Hill, Matoaca, Patrick Henry, Powhatan, Saint Gertrude, Hermitage, St. Catherine’s, Goochland & Collegiate.

5.  The volleyball teams travel to Randolph-Henry for their games at 5:30 & 6:30.

Wednesday, September 11:

1.  The cross country teams travel to Prince Edward to take on PE, Cumberland and Buckingham at 4:30.

2.  The volleyball teams host Powhatan at 5:30.  Cost for the games is $5.00.

Thursday, September 12:

1.  The golf team hosts Buckingham & Central at Royal Virginia at 3:30.

2.  The middle school boys soccer team hosts St. Anne’s at the old high school at 4:30.

3.  The middle school volleyball team hosts Atlee at 5:00.  Cost is $4.00.

4.  The volleyball teams travel to Buckingham for their games at 5:30.

5.  The JV football team travels to Bluestone for their game at 6:30.

Friday, September 13:

1.  The varsity football hosts Bluestone at 7:00.  Cost for the game is $5.00.
