Athletic events for the week of September 1, 2014

Tuesday, September 2:

1.  The golf team will host Buckingham & Randolph-Henry at Royal Virginia at 3:30.

2.  The JV & varsity volleyball team will open the season hosting Bluestone at 5:30 & 7:15.  Cost for the games is $5.00.

Wednesday, September 3:

1.  The cross country teams travel to Amelia for their run with Amelia, Bluestone & Buckingham at 4:30.

2.  The JV football team will host Fork Union at 6:30.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

Thursday, September 4:

1.  The golf team travels to Longwood Golf Course to take on Prince Edward & Amelia at 3:30.

2.  The JV & varsity volleyball teams travel to Randolph-Henry for their games at 5:30 & 7:15.

Friday, September 5:

1.  The varsity football team hosts Fork Union at 7:00.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

Saturday, September 6:

1.  The cross country teams travel to Fork Union for a CC Invitational at 9:00 am.

1.  The golf team travel to Farmville to play Prince Edward & Randolph-Henry on the Longwood course at 3:30.

Friday, August 29:

1.  The varsity football opens the season at home vs. Essex at 7:00.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

Monday, August 18:

1.  The varsity JV & varsity travel to Louisa for a scrimmage at 5:30 & 7:00.  They will be playing in the gym behind Louisa Middle School.

Tuesday, August 19:

1.  The golf team travels to Clarksville to take on Bluestone & Cumberland at Kinderton Golf & Country Club at 3:30.

Wednesday, August 20:

1.  The JV volleyball team will host Henrico High School for a scrimmage at 5:30.

Thursday, August 21:

1.  The golf team hosts Bluestone & Nottoway at Royal Virginia Golf Course at 3:30.

2.  The JV football scrimmage at Louisa has been canceled.

Friday, August 22:

1.  The varsity football team will host Louisa in a VHSL Benefit Game at 7:00.  Cost for the game is $5.00.  The GHS family, senior & staff passes do not work for the benefit game.

Saturday, August 23:

1.  The varsity volleyball team will host the Goochland Volleyball Jamboree at 9:00.  The schools that are participating in the Jamboree are:  Collegiate, Godwin, Goochland, Henrico, Louisa, Midlothian, Nottoway, Powhatan, Prince Edward & Rappahannock.  Cost for the Jamboree is $5.00 and GHS family, senior or staff passes do not work for the Jamboree.

1.  The golf team opens up their 2014 season with a home match.  The Bulldogs will host Fluvanna at Royal Virginia Golf Course at 3:30.

Thursday, August 14:

1.  The golf team travels to the Farmville Municipal Golf Course to take on Cumberland and Central at 3:30.

2.  Early Dog Special:  Bulldog Family passes will be sold in the cafeteria for $200 during Business Day.

Friday, August 15:

1.  The varsity football team travels to Western Albemarle High School for a scrimmage with Stuarts Draft & Chancellor.  Stuarts Draft & Chancellor start the scrimmage at 5:30 with the Bulldogs playing Chancellor second.
