Atheltic events for the week of October 1:

Monday, October 1:

1.  A couple of the members of the golf team will participate in the Region B Golf Tournament at The Manor Golf Club in Farmville at 9:00.

2.  The middle school boys soccer team hosts Powhatan at the old high school at 4:30.

3.  The middle school volleyball team hosts Powhatan at 4:30 in the middle school gym.

4.  The JV and varsity volleyball teams travel to Amelia for their games at 6:00 & 7:15.

Tuesday, October 2:

1.  The middle school volleyball team hosts Collegiate at 4:30.

Wednesday, October 3:

1.  The middle school boys soccer team hosts Collegiate at the old high school at 4:30.

2.  The cross country teams travel to Cumberland to take on Cumberland & Nottoway at 4:30.

3.  The JV & varsity volleyball teams host Central at 6:00 & 7:15.  Cost for the games is $5.00.

Thursday, Ocotber 4:

1.  The middle school boys soccer team travels to St. Christopher’s for their game at 4:30.

2.  The middle school volleyball team hosts William Monroe at 4:30.

3.  The JV football team travels to Nottoway for their game at 6:30.

Friday, October 5:

1.  The varsity football team hosts Nottoway at 7:00.  Cost for the game is $5.00

Rt. 522(South) to Rt. 60;

Cross Rt. 60,

This will turn into Rt. 13;

Go 5 miles on Rt. 13;

Take left on Rt. 609;

Follow Rt. 609 to Rt. 360;

Turn right on Rt. 360;

Go about 16 miles or so on Rt. 360;

Go 2 miles past Rt. 49 intersection (to Crewe);

Turn left on Rt. 723 (just before Burkeville); 

Cross over Rt. 460 on Rt. 723 to Victoria;

Go about 12 miles and at stop sign turn right on Rt. 49;

Continue straight through traffic light and school is 1.5 miles on left.

Athletic events for HOMECOMING WEEK!!!!!!!!!

Monday, September 24:

1.  The volleyball teams travel to Randolph-Henry for their games at 6:00 & 7:15.

Tuesday, September 25:

1.  The middle school boys soccer team travels to St. Christopher’s for their game at 4:30.

2.  The middle school volleyball team hosts St. Catherine’s at 4:30.

3.  The cross country teams travel to Nottoway to take on Nottoway & Cumberland at 4:30.

4.  Spirit Night at GHS:  Chili Cook Off and Power Puff Football Game:  6:00-8:00

Wednesday, September 26:

1.  The volleyball teams host Buckingham at 6:00 & 7:15.  Cost for the games is $5.00.

2.  The JV football team will host Fork Union at 6:30.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

Thursday, September 27:

1.  The middle school boys soccer team travels to Collegiate (Blair Road Complex) for their game at 4:00.

2.  The middle school volleyball team hosts St. Anne’s at 4:30.

3.  The volleyball teams host Bluestone at 6:00 & 7:15.  Cost for the games is $5.00.

Friday, September 28:

1.  The varsity football team hosts Bluestone at 7:00 in the Homecoming game.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

1.  The middle school volleyball team hosts Steward School at 4:30.

2.  The JV football team hosts Central at 6:30.  Cost for the game is $5.00.

Friday, September 21:

1.  The varsity football team travels to Central for their game at 7:00.

Monday, September 10:

1.  The volleyball teams travel to Central for their games at 6:00 & 7:15.

Tuesday, September 11:

1.  The golf team travels to The Manor Golf Course in Farmville for the James River District Mini-Tournament at 4:00.

2.  The middle school volleyball team plays their first game of the year at William Monroe at 5:00.

Wednesday, September 12:

1.  The cross country teams travel to Buckingham to take on Buckingham, Bluestone & Randolph-Henry at 4:30.

2.  The JV football team travels to Monticello for their game at 6:30.

3.  The volleyball games scheduled with Bluestone have been postponed until Thursday, September 27.

Thursday, September 13:

1.  The middle school volleyball team hosts Atlee at 5:00.

Friday, September 14:

1.  The varsity football team hosts Monticello at 7:30.  Cost for the game is $5.00.
